Lock Inward (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a productivity and wellness application designed to help users build intentional journaling habits by restricting access to other apps on their device until a journaling session is completed. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

By using Lock Inward, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Lock Inward is built with your privacy as a top priority. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share:

• Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
• Journal entries or any content you write within the App
• App usage data or analytics
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or any other data from your device

All data generated by your use of Lock Inward remains entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

Lock Inward uses iOS Screen Time and Focus features to restrict access to other apps based on schedules you configure. To enable this functionality, the App may request the following permissions:

• Screen Time / Family Controls access — to enforce the app-blocking schedule you set

These permissions are used solely to deliver the core functionality of the App. No data collected through these permissions is transmitted off your device.

Lock Inward offers optional premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions, processed entirely through Apple's App Store using RevenueCat. Any payment information is handled exclusively by Apple and RevenueCat in accordance with their respective privacy policies. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment details.

Lock Inward is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.

Aside from Apple App Store and RevenueCat for payment processing, Lock Inward does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Since Lock Inward does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no data stored on our servers that could be compromised. All app data, including your journal entries and schedule settings, resides solely on your device and is subject to Apple's built-in iOS security protections.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document and post the revised policy within the App or on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
